The audio guide reveals how Bache transformed mycelium, perception and energy flow into a visual amulet.
Amuleto Holístico is a mural by Bache about perception, movement and the invisible network that connects living things.
During his time in Tulum, the artist reflected on the flow of energy and constant transformation he felt in the environment. The mushrooms in the piece refer to mycelium: the underground system through which fungi communicate, exchange nutrients and connect with the forest around them.
Here, that idea becomes visual. Wings open outward, the yellow circle becomes a field of energy, and the central form feels almost like a mirror, portal or protective amulet.
For Bache, the word behind the piece is simple: movement. Not only physical movement, but the movement of energy, perception and connection between nature and the human body.
- The mushrooms at the top, as symbols of mycelium and underground connection.
- The wings opening outward, creating a sense of movement.
- The yellow circular field, almost like an energetic halo.
- The central form, which can feel like a mirror, portal or amulet.
- The way the bird body, feathers and fungi merge into one hybrid presence.
- The contrast between the painted network and the real jungle surrounding it.
- The feeling that the mural is not still, but expanding.
