Marakame
Brothers of Light
Original structure designed by Curiot
A jungle structure reawakened through desert color, geometry and inner vision.
Listen to how Curiot's structure was reawakened by Brothers of Light.
Two lives of the same structure
This structure has carried more than one vision. Originally designed by Curiot as a sculptural wall with stairs, curves and openings, it later received a new visual life through Brothers of Light. The before and after reveals how the Art Walk changes over time: not by erasing its history, but by adding new layers to it.

Marakame is one of the most visually vibrant structures in the Holistika Art Walk.
Before its current image, this wall already had a first life. The structure was originally designed by Mexican artist Curiot, after a production question opened a new possibility for the Art Walk: if Holistika could build its own walls, why keep making only flat surfaces?
From that idea, the wall became more than a wall. Stairs, curves, openings and sculptural forms turned it into a place that could be entered, climbed, photographed and experienced.
Years later, Brothers of Light gave the structure a new visual life. Their refresh transformed the space with desert colors, geometric patterns, cactus forms, vessels and symbols inspired by a first journey through Mexico.
Today, Marakame feels like a meeting point between jungle and desert: a bright, playful and ceremonial structure where color becomes movement, memory and invitation.
- The stairs, curves and openings that make this more than a flat mural.
- The way the structure invites people to enter, climb and become part of the image.
- The contrast between the jungle around you and the desert symbols painted on the wall.
- The cactus forms, vessels and geometric patterns.
- The bright palette and how it makes the piece one of the most photographable stops in the Art Walk.
- The two lives of the structure: first designed by Curiot, later reawakened by Brothers of Light.
