Unlock this storyAlegría del Prado painted Ofrenda de luz infinita in 2017, during the first phase of the Holistika Art Walk.
The artists described it as the night receiving a new sun: a heart of the sky, a primordial energy for life. Inspired by Maya cosmology, the mural sees birds as sacred beings, able to rise toward the heavens and carry messages through their song.
Its animals, flowers and warm colors turn the wall into more than a jungle scene. It becomes an offering.
Still one of the best-preserved murals from the original Art Walk, this piece invites you to slow down and listen more closely.
- The birds as messengers between earth and sky.
- The new sun at the center of the composition.
- The owl, the quetzal-like bird and the coati.
- The small elemental figure in the corner.
- The warm colors that still remain after years in the jungle.
